Heating is essential to IPL and Laser machines. The heater rod’s function is to heat the water that goes through different components of the machine in order for the machine to perform well. If you notice that when you power on your machine, the “please wait: machine heating up,” symbol does not go away, your machine will not work as the heater rod is likely no longer functioning properly. Please note, do not attempt to take drastic measures when the message on your screen does not disappear. The machine will not heat up, and therefore the laser will simply not work until the heater rod has been replaced.
