As a disposable, sterile-packed alternative to reusable esophageal dilators, CleanGuideā¢ Dilators help eliminate the complicated and time-consuming task of dilator reprocessing and mitigate the risk of cross-contamination events. Length measurements along the body of the dilator help to approximate position within the esophagus while minimizing the need for intraoperative fluoroscopy. Should fluoroscopy be preferred, a built in fluoroscopic measurement system is also included with each device. In addition, as one of the only rigid esophageal dilators within the United States that is not manufactured using phthlates, CleanGuideā¢ Dilators help to eliminate potentially hazardous chemicals from the endosuite. CleanGuideā¢ Disposable Marked Spring Tip Guidewires pair perfectly with all of the bougie dilators within ConMed's portfolio. This disposable, sterile-packed product helps reduce the risk of cross-contamination while reducing the need to closely track and inspect reusable guidewires. This helps to reduce facility liability associated with worn or damaged reusable guidewires failing during a procedure.
